Miwa Hitsumoto PhD, LMFT<\/h2>

Dr Hitsumoto is the founder and lead therapist of LA Counseling.\u200b<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

LA Counseling opened in South Pasadena, California in 2004 as the private practice of Dr Hitsumoto. Over the past 20 years, she expanded the practice to include an office in downtown Los Angeles (colocated within the Fujiwara Medical Clinic), and other mental health practitioners offering counseling, EMDR, psychological testing, and medication management with a PMHNP or affiliated physicians.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

While we primarily serve clients in the Greater Los Angeles Area, we also provide remote counseling and services to people residing across California, the USA, in Japan, and around the world. Our counselors and psychotherapists are licensed in California or Japan. Dr Hitsumoto is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California, Texas, and Nevada.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

As we approach our 20 year anniversary, LA Counseling is planning to open our first office in Japan to bring western, evidence-based, mental health treatment to the people of Japan. Coming soon in late 2023!<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
